Here are the top-rated Kansas State Wildcats in EA Sports college football video game

The wait is over.

Which Kansas State player will earn the highest rating in the new college football video game from EA Sports? After months of speculation, that is a question that finally has an answer.

A deluxe version of the game was released on Monday afternoon, and many gamers began playing the popular simulation the minute it was available. K-State fans were able to glean quite a bit of information about the digital version of their favorite team, including who the best Wildcat is in the game.

That honor went to junior running back DJ Giddens, who received a team-high overall rating of 88.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Giddens earned the highest rating. The Junction City native rushed for 1,226 yards and 10 touchdowns last season, and he looked particularly good in the postseason when he led the Wildcats to a victory over North Carolina State at the Pop-Tarts Bowl by amassing 188 yards of total offense and scoring two touchdowns.

The Wildcats should be a fun team to rush with in the new EA Sports game. Colorado transfer running back Dylan Edwards earned a rating of 85. So did dual-threat quarterback Avery Johnson, who is one of the fastest players on the entire roster.

Marques Sigle was the top-rated player on defense, as he earned an overall rating of 86.

Nearly 80 players are listed on the K-State roster by name, with ratings that range from as low as 53 to as high as 88.
