Top 10 AHL Scorers Of 2024

The 2024 calendar year was an eventful one for the American Hockey League.

The Hershey Bears captured their second straight Calder Cup, 99 league alumni made their NHL debuts, and 11 players separated themselves from the rest of the league in scoring.

Below are the 11 highest regular season AHL scorers for the calendar year, Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2024.

1. Rocco Grimaldi - Chicago/Cleveland (GP: 71 G: 26 A: 47 P: 73)

The two-time AHL All-Star is on his fifth team in the past four seasons despite being one of the league's best players in that span.

He continues to produce everywhere he goes and has developed chemistry with Cleveland's young players.

2. Seth Griffith - Bakersfield (GP: 73 G: 20 A: 48 P: 68)

The 31-year-old continues his long history of AHL production and leads the Bakersfield Condors in points this season.

He currently sits 53rd on the AHL all-time scoring list with 594 points in 645 games

3. Andrew Poturalski - San Jose (GP: 68 G: 24 A: 43 P: 67)

Poturalski's lengthy AHL resume includes two Calder Cups, a Jack A Butterfield Trophy as playoff MVP, and two JB Sollenberger trophies as AHL leading scorer.

The 30-year-old leads the Barracuda in scoring with 31 points in 30 games.

4. Andrew Agozzino - Tucson (GP: 69 G: 28 A: 42 P: 66)

Tied with Egor Sokolov as Tucson's leading scorer, Agozzino has continued his high-level of AHL production this season with 23 points in 26 games.

The three-time all-star now sits 47th on the AHL all-time scoring list.

5. Vinnie Hinostroza - Milwaukee (GP: 63 G: 25 A: 39 P: 64)

The 30-year-old was leading the AHL in scoring for most of the season before earning a much deserved call-up to the Nashville Predators.

6. Kole Lind - Coachella Valley/Texas (GP: 72 G: 19 A: 45 P: 64)

A jack of all trades type player, Lind has one 30-goal AHL season under his belt and racked up the assists in 2024. He was a key contributor to the Coachella Valley Firebirds run to the 2024 Calder Cup finals.

7. Trey Fix-Wolansky - Cleveland (GP: 61 G: A: P: 63)

Fix-Wolansky has found chemistry with league leading scorer Luca Del Bel Belluz and has helped the Monsters record the third most powerplay goals of the season.

A two-time Second AHL All-Star Team member, Fix-Wolansky is on pace for his third straight season above a point per game.

8. Glenn Gawdin - Ontario (GP: 69 G: 24 A: 42 P: 66)

Gawdin won AHL Player of the Month for November after recording 21 points in 12 games with a +13 rating.

After several solid AHL seasons the 27-year-old is on pace to score above a point per game for the first time in his professional career.

9. Matej Blumel - Texas (GP: 72 G: 33 A: 29 P: 62)

Blumel recorded the second most goals in 2024 and sits sixth in the league this season. He has an elite release and is quickly make a case for an extended NHL call-up.

T10. Georgii Merkulov -Providence (GP: 64 G: 23 A: 38 P: 61)

Merkulov has been a dynamic player since joining Providence at the end of the 2022 season. He picked up his first career NHL point with Boston in November.

He was named to the AHL All-Rookie Team in 2022-23 and represented the Atlantic Division at the AHL All-Star Game last season.

He led Providence with 30 goals and 65 points in 67 games last season.

T10. Samuel Fagemo - Ontario (GP: 58 G: 46 A: 15 P: 61)

The AHL goal scoring leader for the 2024 calendar year, Fagemo also played in the least amount of games on this list, highlighting his elite goal scoring ability and deadly shot.
