AC Milan have once again been named as one of the clubs interested in signing Patrick Dorgu as he continues to shine for Lecce, but there is competition from England.

As TMW recall, Dorgu made his debut for the Danish national team on September 5 in a UEFA Nations League match against Switzerland, also scoring his first goal less than two minutes after he came off the bench.

He has proven to be yet another inspired signing from Lecce director Pantaleo Corvino who bought him from Nordsjaelland for just €200k. Napoli tried to convince the Giallorossi club to sell him in the summer but the response was negative.

The Azzurri are still continuing to follow him, Milan are also on his trail but the Serie A duo must also keep an eye on many Premier League clubs such as Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool.

Lecce have him under contract until 2029 even though they are aware that it will be difficult to keep him next season, especially if important offers were to arrive.

The visit of Lecce to San Siro on Friday night gave the directors a first-hand look at Dorgu, a player that has reportedly been on their wish list for some time, with Geoffrey Moncada in particular a big fan.
