Titans complete interview with Bears' Ian Cunningham for GM
The Tennessee Titans announced they have completed a virtual interview with Chicago Bears assistant general manager Ian Cunningham for the team's vacant GM job.
Cunningham, who has been with the Bears since 2022, has now interviewed for vacant GM jobs in the last three offseasons, where he was most recently passed over for the Washington Commanders Head of Football Ops job, which went to Adam Peters, in 2024. He was a finalist for the Titans job back in 2023, which went to Ran Carthon who was just fired, and reportedly turned down the Arizona Cardinals job back in 2023.
If Cunningham departed for a GM job, the Bears would get two third-round picks over the next two NFL drafts. But they would also be losing an important part of their front office and Ryan Poles' right-hand man, who has played a big part in keeping Poles in check.
"I am blessed out of my socks to have him by my side that is not a yes man," Poles said of Cunningham last year. "We would not be where we are today without Ian being an incredible partner."
