Emma Raducanu faces a huge test as she goes up against Iga Swiatek at the Australian Open.

The 22-year-old has had to battle some serve problems in Melbourne so far but knocked out 26th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova in the first round and backed it up with a straight-sets win over Amanda Anisimova.

It is now a huge step up for Raducanu in the third round, as the Briton goes up against second seed Swiatek. The Pole needed only an hour to beat Rebecca Sramkova in her last match, dropping just two games.

This will be the third match between the pair, with Raducanu yet to win a set against Swiatek.

“It will be a very good match for me,” Raducanu said.

“Every match I can play against these top opponents, I’m loving it. It’s another opportunity to test my game and see where I’m at. Obviously she’s achieved so much already and I think going into it, I have nothing to lose, I’m just going to swing.”
