Three youth talents train with Barcelona ahead of Villarreal
A trio of up-and-coming talents were spotted playing their part in first-team training with Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad on Saturday.
This comes amid final preparations for Barca’s return to action, against Villarreal on Sunday evening.
The Blaugrana are fresh off a first defeat of the season in midweek, which saw an early red card prove altogether costly in a Champions League trip to AS Monaco.
Still boasting a perfect record of five wins from five in La Liga, though, Flick’s troops will have their sights set firmly on a swift return to winning ways, when they make the trip to El Madrigal in 24 hours’ time.
The Catalans’ stars were put through a final preparatory session ahead of the clash earlier today, with the likes of the injured Dani Olmo, Ronald Araújo and Fermín López having missed out.
As alluded to above, though, as much opened the door for some of Barca’s standout young talents to step up, with the trio of Toni and Guille Fernández, and Andrés Cuenca, having all been afforded the chance to impress at senior level this morning.
