On Tuesday, it wasn't just the BVB first team who took to the pitch in Milan - the eFootballers were also competing in the Virtual Bundesliga, taking on Braunschweig, Rostock and Leverkusen.

BVB kicked off against Eintracht Braunschweig, and coach Alexander Steinmetz made a 2v2 personnel change: Belgian newcomer Bradley Destoop played alongside Roee Feldman this time, and the game ended in a draw. After Roee Feldman lost the first 1vs1, Dennis Malcherczyk came up trumps in the deciding game, winning 3-2 to secure a draw.

The personnel change in the 2vs2 then proved to be a wise decision - Destoop and Feldman beat Rostock's Lukas Wolff and Felix Breitkopf 5-3, but Roee Feldman was unable to capitalise on the subsequent match point and lost 4-1, meaning that it came down to Dennis Malcherczyk again. However, he conceded an unfortunate equaliser to make it 2-2 shortly before the final game, meaning that the second fixture of the evening also ended in a points draw.

On Matchday 7, the BVB eFootballers took on Bayer 04 Leverkusen. The Feldman/Destoop duo remained unbeaten, with a 1-1 draw in the 2vs2, and look a promising duo for the coming weeks. However, there was a repeat of the scenario from Matchday 5 (Braunschweig): after losing to the strong Sean Landwehr, Roee Feldman also lost his third 1vs1 of the evening. Once again, all eyes were on Dennis Malcherczyk's deciding game, but he withstood the pressure and won 3-1 to bring the overall score level.

As a result, all three games of the evening ended in a draw. "All in all, we can't be satisfied with the points we picked up today. Nevertheless, we are continuing to make progress in small steps. In 2vs2, for example, we were much more stable with Feldman/Destoop. I'd also like to praise Dennis Malcherczyk, who is becoming an increasingly important player in 1v1," said coach Alexander Steinmetz in the aftermath.
