Theo Hernandez unhappy with situation at Milan
Serie A side Milan left-back Theo Hernandez is unsettled at the club.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Theo Hernandez is reflecting on his future at Milan as he is not happy with the situation that Paulo Fonseca has put him in.
The Portuguese manager benched an out-of-form Rafael Leao at the start of the new season for a few games while laying out his expectations from the player and the forward got back into form with time. While Fonseca has been trying to use a similar therapy programme with the Frenchman, it has not progressed so far as starting on the bench regularly is not something boding well with him.
Hernandez feels that he is not getting support from the club and the fans as his bad patch is getting more attention than his achievements with the team. Fonseca is set to bench him again at the Bentegodi this weekend to give way to Alex Jimenez and things are expected to escalate between the two.
Contract renewal negotiations which were progressing quicker than predicted have stalled now as Hernandez continues to consider his future.
