It’s Friday, April 19th, 2019 and here’s what Jared’s cooking up:

• The Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets are in the middle of their first round series, but the focus is on the beef between Ben Simmons and Jared Dudley as they seek to get in each other’s heads.

• Meanwhile on the west coast, Kevin Durant and Patrick Beverly continue to overshadow the series between their teams. After both men were ejected in game 1, it’s hard to imagine the intensity being ratcheted up further.

• The typically old school world of Major League Baseball is beginning to wade into the waters of Twitter beefing. After Tim Anderson pimped a home run, Randall Grichuk took him to task online in the weakest way possible.

• James Holzhauer is a sports gambler raking it in hand over fist, but not the way you think. He’s the current defending champ on Jeopardy!, and he’s already set the record for the four highest single episode earnings in show history.
