The Rush: Assault of Masai Ujiri off court is why Black Lives Matter is painted on it

WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE to see today’s piping-hot, fresh-outta-the-oven episode of THE RUSH with Jared Quay! We’ll let you know everything you didn’t know you needed to know about sports. Other stuff too. But mostly sports.

It’s Thursday, August 20, 2020 and here’s what Jared’s cooking up:

  • After letting his top seeded Lakers lose to the 8th seeded Blazers, LeBron James took some heat from a few high profile former Celtics.

  • Out west, the Mavericks tied up their series with the Clippers while the Jazz got a boost from their bench to pull even with the Nuggets.

  • In the east, the higher seeds took 2-0 series leads as the Raptors notched a sloppy win over the Nets, and the Celtics completely destroyed the 76ers.

  • Bodycam footage of a bay area deputy shoving Raptors president Masai Ujiri proves the officer was dishonest in his account of the incident.

  • PLUS: The LA spotlight is safe for now, a Boston legend claims to have averaged 1500 claps per game, and the Nets final play broke Charles Barkley.

THE RUSH will be back tomorrow! Until then, stay safe and don’t forget to check out our previous episodes here.
