At least Butler and Wade had the temerity, the strength and maximum contract-forged brand of leadership, to stand up in the sweat-soaked United Center locker room and speak their piece. To calmly stare down the hoards of media and make a collective point about togetherness, work ethic, and the values of a good star-based system.
Rajon Rondo? He went on Instagram. He did in a caption. That looks bad, right?
Possibly. The whole thing looks awful, from any angle, but at the risk of sounding the tenured TV sports anchor with something to say, isn’t that how things are in 2017?
