TGL Golf highlights, leaderboard: The Bay Golf Club beats New York Golf Club, scores
The opening night of TGL is in the books.
The indoor simulator league backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's TMRW Sports, debuted Tuesday night at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. And it was a fairly one-sided affair, with The Bay Golf Club taking home the 9-2 victory over New York Golf Club.
All in all, it was a successful debut for TGL, and Tiger Woods' Jupiter Golf Links makes its debut next week.
Here's a recap of the match, including highlights, scores and more.
TGL Hole No. 15: Ludvig Aberg and Xander Schauffele tie, final score The Bay Golf Club 9, New York Golf Club 2
TGL Hole No. 14: Wyndham Clark and Matt Fitzpatrick tie
Both players hit their shots on the par-3 close to each other, and neither was able to make their birdie putt. Hole is tied, and it remains 9-2 The Bay.
TGL Hole No. 13: Rickie Fowler beats Shane Lowry
It took 13 holes, but New York GC got its second point thanks to a strong, aggressive tee shot from Rickie Fowler that he paid off with a great wedge shot. Lowry missed his par putt and conceded. The Bay leads New York 9-2.
TGL Hole No. 12: Ludvig Aberg beats Xander Schauffele
Hide your kids, hide your wife. The Bay is dominating New York. Xander Schauffele hit three shots and didn't get inside where Ludvig Aberg was, and The Bay gets another point to go up 9-1.
TGL Hole No. 11: Wyndham Clark beats Matt Fitzpatrick
The singles pace of play has slowed from Triples. And The Bay isn't slowing down, even with the match in hand. Wyndham Clark takes the hole and the point. It's now 8-1 The Bay.
TGL Hole No. 10: Shane Lowry beats Rickie Fowler, The Bay wins opening match
The first hole of singles was in the books as soon as it started. Rickie Fowlers opening tee shot went out of bounds, so Shane Lowry put his tee shot in play, was on the green in three shots and had two putts to win, and he did. The Bay goes up 7-1 with five holes to play, giving The Bay Golf Club the win. The tiebreaker for the postseason is total holes won, so they will play the remaining holes.
TGL Hole No. 9: The Bay GC 6, New York GC 1
The Spear is an incredible TGL hole, featuring two diamond-shaped fairways that longer players can carry. Both teams easily carried the narrow portion and got into the second fairway. Matt Fitzpatrick of New York GC hits a brilliant chip shot that rolled back and got New York a birdie. The Bay missed is long birdie attempt, and New York is on the board. On to singles.

TGL Hole No. 8: The Bay GC 6, New York GC 0
"Flex" is the name of the par-4 hole that features lava lurking. Shane Lowry for The Bay GC nearly made the birdie putt, then from just off the green, Rickie Fowler nearly chipped in for birdie. One more hole of alternate shot left after a tie.
TGL Hole No. 7: The Bay GC 6, New York GC 0
New York threw The Hammer before the teams teed off, meaning the hole was worth two points. But it didn't matter. Ludvig Aberg of The Bay Golf Club drilled the 5-foot par putt, and the teams tie for only the second hole tonight.
TGL Hole No. 6: The Bay wins again, leads 6-0
The second par-4 hole of the night sees both teams find the green, but again, Xander Schauffele of New York GC had a putt to tie the hole and was unable to do it. Point The Bay.
TGL Hole No. 5: The Bay is on fire
Ludvig Aberg is a menace on the greens. He pours in a long birdie putt on the par-3 hole, and The Bay is now up 5-0.
TGL Hole No. 4: The Bay GC increases lead
The par-5 hole Boomerang is up next. Tiger Woods joined the booth and was talking about TGL and he and Rory's vision. Tiger will play next week in Jupiter Links' first match. Back to the action, The Bay's Ludvig Aberg stuck his approach shot close, and Shane Lowry knocked in the birdie putt to add another point.
TGL Hole No. 3: The Bay capitalizes on The Hammer
The first par-3 of the night. Ludvig Aberg finds the green but is a long way from the hole. Xander Schauffele comes up short in the greenside bunker. Shane Lowry hit the 53-foot, 7-inch putt a bit past the hole for The Bay. Then, Rickie Fowler hit out of the sand for the second straight hole, but his ball ran a bit by the hole. Fitzpatrick missed the par putt for New York. The Bay then threw The Hammer, making the hole worth two points, and Wyndham Clark drilled the putt to go up 3-0.

TGL Hole No. 2: Teams halve second hole
After a penalty shot from The Bay, New York seemed destined to win a point on the second hole. However, Matt Fitzpatrick missed a birdie putt, and the teams both made par, which means neither get a point.
TGL Hole No. 3: The Bay GC wins first hole
Shane Lowry hit the opening tee shot, Wyndham Clark hit a brilliant approach and Ludvig Aberg made the birdie putt. One hole and The Bay has its first point.

How do TGL matches work?
Each match will feature two sessions with different formats. Session 1 will be nine holes of “Triples,” three vs. three team alternate shot. Session 2 is six holes of “Singles,” a head-to-head competition where each competitor plays two holes.
Holes are worth one point each, and the team with the fewest shots on a hole wins the point. Ties are worth no points. If a match is all square at the end of the 15 holes, players will compete head-to-head until a team hits two shots closer to the pin than its competitors.
Sand the same as that at Augusta
The playing area features a 64x53-foot simulator screen, a 22,475-square-foot short-game area and a 41-yard-wide turntable that rotates the green to change approach angles.
The craziest part of TGL's setup, however, is the bunkers. They feature the same sand as a certain Alister MacKenzie track in Georgia. Here's more on the facility from the mouth of Rory McIlroy.
