The Tennessee Volunteers easily defeated Saint Peter's 83-49 in the first round of March Madness. Dalton Knecht led the scoring with 23 points, crushing the Peacock's hopes for a successful NCAA Tournament run. Jonas Aidoo also played a significant role in the win, contributing 15 points and six rebounds.
The Texas Longhorns defeated the No. 10 seed Colorado State 56-44 to advance to the second round of the tournament. Dylan Disu and Max Abmas contributed 12 points each to secure the Longhorns' victory.

While I’m wary of the fact that the Longhorns went just 3-8 SU against AP Top 25 teams this year, I’m very much concerned about laying this big of a number with the Volunteers. Rick Barnes is notorious for choking when the big dance comes around, and I don’t know if this Tennessee team is talented enough to overcome those tournament woes. "
