Winners and Whiners: Take Texas

Trent Pruitt writes: "I'm going to take a flier on Texas to keep this game within two possessions. While I’m wary of the fact that the Longhorns went just 3-8 SU against AP Top 25 teams this year, I’m very much concerned about laying this big of a number with the Volunteers. Rick Barnes is notorious for choking when the big dance comes around, and I don’t know if this Tennessee team is talented enough to overcome those tournament woes. "

Fansided: Tennessee

Shelby Dermer writes: "The Volunteers can create transition opportunities with a defense that was No. 1 in the SEC in takeaways against a Texas offense that is No. 159 in turnover percentage. The Longhorns have struggled in this spot against formidable opponents (5-6 ATS as an underdog) and will run into a freight train Saturday when they line up against the Volunteers."

ESPN: Tennessee have a 77% chance to win

According to ESPN's Matchup Predictor, the Tennessee Volunteers have a 77.9% chance to beat the Texas Longhorns in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
