The Texas Rangers failed to make the playoffs a year after winning the World Series and the team now faces a pivotal offseason.

Which players are under contract for the 2025 season and which are free agents?

The Rangers have a several big-name players entering free agency, some are eligible for arbitration and others are under long-term contracts.

The 2025 Texas Rangers won’t have a complete roster overhaul with many of the team’s top position players expected to return including Corey Seager, Marcus Semien, Josh Jung. The pitching staff is where the Rangers could see the most turnover with multiple key pitchers such as Kirby Yates, Nathan Eovaldi and Max Scherzer all capable of being free agents in the upcoming offseason.
