Terracciano insists Milan will not underestimate ‘Serie A team’ Sassuolo

Filippo Terracciano spoke to the media ahead of AC Milan’s clash against Sassuolo this evening, sharing his thoughts on the Serie B side. Of course, there is no other option but to win for the Rossoneri.

Terracciano has made quite a few appearances this season, some even from start, and he’s clearly the preferred left-back deputy according to Paulo Fonseca. With eight changes made to the starting XI this evening, the youngster has been given another chance from start.

Speaking to MilanTV and Italia 1 ahead of the game, as transcribed by MilanNews, the full-back shared his thoughts on the task at hand. He made it clear that the Rossoneri won’t underestimate their opponents, considering them a Serie A side.

“We have been feeling confident since the Empoli match, we need to show continuity against Sassuolo. The consideration we have for them is that of a Serie A team, so we won’t underestimate the challenge,” he stated.

It remains to be seen how Terracciano will get on, having struggled a bit with the consistency this season. Of course, being right-footed, it’s not exactly an easy task to play on the left-hand side.
