Team news: Magpies unchanged for Cherries clash

The Magpies head coach has opted not to shuffle his pack for the visit of his former club, with United having beaten Wolves 3-0 on Wednesday night in their last outing, which was their ninth win in a row.

The Cherries, meanwhile, are on an unbeaten run of their own which could stretch to ten Premier League games if they avoid defeat at St. James' Park, but to do so they'll have to topple a settled and in-form Newcastle side.

Martin Dúbravka is in goal behind a backline of Tino Livramento, Sven Botman, Dan Burn and Lewis Hall.

Howe's midfield triumvirate again features skipper Bruno Guimarães, Sandro Tonali and Joelinton, while further forward Jacob Murphy and Anthony Gordon will continue to share the attacking burden with Alexander Isak, who has 11 goals in his last nine games.

Fabian Schär is back on the bench following illness, with fellow defenders Kieran Trippier and Lloyd Kelly also named.

Sean Longstaff, Joe Willock and Lewis Miley provide midfield reinforcements, with Miguel Almirón and Will Osula ready to be deployed to bolster the Magpies' attack if required. Odysseas Vlachodimos is the substitute goalkeeper.
