New Team Of The Year Changes And Base Cards In NHL 25
EA Sports NHL has announced changes to the NHL 25 Team of the Year.
In a post on X EA Sports outlined big changes, including extended set times, streamlined set creation and improved filtering for 83 and 85 overall sets.
Additionally, six new 90 overall icon Team of the Year Base Cards were added.

The extended set times are made to help with the autofill issues in sets, Team of the Year Week 1/forward sets will be extended until Feb. 7. New sets have been added for players to create 2x or 3x 83, 85 or 87 overall sets. Filtering has also been updated to allow exact overall cards to be added to sets.
The six TOTY Icon cards that were released are Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Gordie Howe, Eric Lindros, Jaromir Jagr, and Mike Modano.

90 overall Mikko Rantanen, Martin Necas, and Kirill Marchenko are among other new cards.
Additionally, an 88 overall Cole Perfetti is available for completing all Winnipeg Jets weekly objectives.
