Team Canada's World Junior Roster Revealed & Dominated By 14 OHL Players
Canada completed their two-game series against the U Sports All-Stars on Thursday and Friday. They cruised to a 5-2 victory Thursday, which was led by big performances from Brampton Steelheads forward Carson Rehkopf and Oshawa Generals forward Beckett Sennecke.
After a tight hockey game Friday afternoon, in which Team Canada won 2-1, the coaching staff and management met to formulate their final roster for the 2025 World Junior Championship.

16 OHL players were named in Canada's selection camp. 14 of them (most the OHL has had representing Canada at the World Juniors) have made Team Canada.
Guelph Storm defenseman Cameron Allen and London Knights captain Denver Barkey were the two OHL players who were cut from the team. That's not including the late camp invite of Beckett Sennecke, who also did not make the team.
Canada is looking to improve on their disappointing fifth-place finish in Sweden at last year's World Junior Championship, and returnees from the OHL Easton Cowan, Carson Rehkopf, and Oliver Bonk are looking for their redemption.
Here are the 14 OHL players who will proudly don their nation's colors, ready to light up the ice on home soil.

This team has three 2025 NHL draft-eligible players on it: Porter Martone, Matthew Schaefer, and Jack Ivankovic, and the projected first overall pick in 2026, the phenom Gavin McKenna, who has been torching the WHL.
The Philadelphia Flyers and Seattle Kraken each have three prospects on Team Canada.
Philadelphia's prospects are Jett Luchanko, Oliver Bonk, and goaltender Carson Bjarnason (WHL).
Seattle's prospects are Carson Rehkopf, Berkly Catton (WHL), and Caden Price (WHL).
