The TCU Horned Frogs were selected as the No. 2 seed in the Fayetteville Regional and will face the Arizona Wildcats in the NCAA Tournament on Friday.

The Horned Frogs learned their postseason destination on Memorial Day after defeating Oklahoma State 12-5 in the Big 12 Tournament championship game Sunday to secure the league’s automatic bid.

Host Arkansas (41-16) will play Santa Clara (35-18) on the other side of the regional. The winner of the double-elimination bracket will face the winner of the Terre Haute Regional in the Super Regionals. That bracket includes host Indiana State, Wright State, North Carolina and Iowa.

TCU (37-22) is one of the hottest teams entering the postseason, having gone 14-2 over the month of May.

The Wildcats (33-24) were one of the last four teams to make the field after making a run to the Pac-12 Tournament final, where they fell to Oregon by a run.
