#TBT: Rex Goudie sells out 1st major concert in 2005

Let's take you back to December 2005, when 6,500 people in white baseball hats crammed into Mile One Centre to see the year's hottest act: Rex Goudie.

It was one of the most anticipated concerts of the year, and just about everyone had caught "Sexy Rexy" fever.

Goudie was kicking off his country-wide tour in promotion of his debut album Under The Lights, which came on the heels of his stint on Canadian Idol.

Tickets for the show sold out in minutes, and scalped ones were going from $150 to $200 each.
