Yahoo Sports Taylor Swift and Blake Lively holding hands in matching party 'fits is BFF goals
It really is the most wonderful time of the year – but not just because Christmas is a mere 11 days away, and our diaries are filled with fab festive events, glitzy parties and endless excuses for champagne and canapés... Nope, more important than all of those things, is the fact that it's also Taylor Swift's birthday.
The queen of our hearts was brought into the world on 13th December a whole 34 years ago, and we will be forever grateful... So of course, it's only fitting that the momentous event be celebrated in a *big* way. Taylor's friends and family clearly agree, because they threw her a major bash at the exclusive The Box nightclub in Manhattan, and luckily for us, the paps were out in full force to capture the glitzy guest list's arrivals.
Our fave looks from the night, though? Taylor and Blake Lively's matching all-black looks, obvs!
The BFF duo proved that twinning is winning, as they hit up the festivities in co-ordinating black outfits. Ever the star of the show, Taylor literally made the whole place shimmer (soz, couldn't help myself!) in a gorge sparkly mini-dress by Clio Peppiatt, embroidered with silver stars, clouds and a moon. The singer paired the dress with her signature bright red lip, a diamond tennis necklace, Messika earrings, bare legs and some *mega* black velvet high heels. The whole look is bday gal perfection, tbh.
Blake, meanwhile, channeled a more vampish vibe in a skintight leather midi dress with a thigh-high slit, leather lace up boots from Christian Louboutin and chunky gold jewellery. The duo were spotted holding hands outside the club in true BFF style, and we love to see it. Happy birthday, Taylor!!!!!
