Tanner Scott Commits To Bowling Green
Victoria Royals forward Tanner Scott has committed to Bowling Green, it was reported Tuesday.
Scott, a product of Sherwood Park, Alta., becomes the first WHL player to commit to an NCAA school since the rule change.
Drafted by the Royals in the third round of the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft, Scott has collected five goals and 13 points in 14 games this season.
Throughout parts of five seasons with the Royals, Scott has collected 53 goals and 86 assists for 139 points in 234 career WHL regular season games.
With Scott now heading to Bowling Green and the NCAA, the Falcons will be getting a highly skilled forward who reads the game at an advanced level. While he is only 5-foot-8, Scott doesn't shy away from the dirty areas of the game and should be a solid add when he steps on campus next fall.
