Tampa Bay Lightning Make Several Roster Cuts

The Tampa Bay Lightning have significantly reduced their training camp roster, as 18 new players have been cut from it.

Nine Lightning players have been re-assigned to the club's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch: Dylan Duke, Jaydon Dureau, Lucas Edmonds, Dyllan Gill, Niko Huuhtanen, Milo Roelens, Roman Schmidt, Lukas Svejkovsky & Gabriel Szturc.

In addition, the Lightning also released nine players from their professional tryout (PTO) contracts: Gabriel Dumont, Ryan Fanti, Tyson Feist, Brandon Halverson, Kale Kessy, Jujhar Khaira, Joel Teasdale, Daniel Walcott & Scott Walford.

With the regular season quickly approaching, the Lightning still have some more roster cuts to make before they finalize their opening night roster.
