Tomkins appeared in his first six NHL games last season with the Lightning. During them, he had a 3-2-1 record, a .892 SV%, and a 3.33 goals-against average.

This Tomkins recall comes with the Lightning set to play back-to-back games against the Nashville Predators and then the Toronto Maple Leafs. We will need to wait and see if Tomkins gets a start with the Lightning for one of those two games from here.
