Tammy Abraham on joining Milan from Roma: “Sometimes you must go to the next level.”

Tammy Abraham was unveiled today during a press conference at Casa Milan as the Rossoneri’s latest signing.

The English striker – who joined Milan on a dry loan for the duration of the season – reflected on leaving Roma behind after a difficult year.

”It’s not that I lost confidence at all, but the fans know how important Roma is to me,” said the ex-Chelsea man.

“But sometimes in life there are cases where you have to go to the next level, set the bar higher, and I thought this was the right opportunity.”

He concluded, “I wish Roma the best, but now I’m focused on Milan”.
