Super Bowl 2025: Everything to know about the date, time, TV, streaming and more

The NFL postseason is past the halfway point and closing in quickly on Super Bowl 59. The biggest sporting event of the year will take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans for a record eighth time.

The field of 14 playoff teams provided some exciting games in the wild card and divisional rounds, including some upsets and close finishes. The NFC's No. 6 seed Washington Commanders beat the No. 3 seed Tampa Bay Buccaneers before knocking off the top seed in the conference, the Detroit Lions – both games coming on the road. The Commanders are up against NFC East foe and the No. 2 seed Philadelphia Eagles, who are looking for their second Super Bowl trip in three seasons.

The AFC sees a potentially historic run unfolding as the two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs are still in contention for a three-peat as Super Bowl winners, which would make them the first team to do so in NFL history. To get there, they'll have to face MVP candidate Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, who held on for a win against the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round.

With just two games left until the big game, here's everything you need to know about Super Bowl 59.
