Stuttgart star speaks out on Barcelona transfer links

Stuttgart star Angelo Stiller has this week spoken out on the ongoing speculation linking him with a move to Spain, with Barcelona.

The name of midfielder Stiller of course emerged as a prominent one in the Spanish media headlines this past summer.

As much came amid the understanding that, amid their search for reinforcements in the middle of the park, the brass at Barcelona earmarked the 23-year-old as one of a number of potential signings.

Stiller has long been hailed for his performances at the base of Stuttgart’s engine room, enough to establish the German as a regular in Julian Nagelsmann’s national team setup, too.

With Deco and co. understood to be keeping a close eye on developments surrounding his future with a view to a potential future move, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his Barca links was on Thursday put to Stiller himself.

During an interview with Sport Bild, as cited by Diario Sport, the talented midfielder explained:

“Of course you hear some speculation about possible changes. Sometimes I get asked about it, even within our locker room. The issue does not concern me. It’s a bad time to worry about this. I’m at Stuttgart and that’s my only goal.”
