Important win against Hartberg
Finally, three points! We won our rearranged home match against TSV Hartberg 4-0 thanks to a superb showing from start to finish and brought our winless run in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga to an end.
Adam Daghim scored his first Bundesliga goal, while Nicolas Capaldo claimed his first brace.
Takumu Kawamura made his competitive debut for our Red Bulls having recovered from injury.
We remain unbeaten in 18 clashes against TSV Hartberg (16 wins and two draws)
Match summary
We headed forward right from the start with the visitors having to resort to some rough challenges to stop us.
Our boys kept up the tempo and forced early openings - the first good one falling to creator-in-chief Oscar Gloukh, who was a real livewire tonight. The Israeli drove on target and Hartberg goalkeeper Sallinger was able to get down to stop him (11'). Gloukh had another chance to make it 1-0 after receiving a long ball from Kamil Piatkowski, but he was denied by Sallinger (19').
Our Red Bulls were putting in a seriously strong showing with more attacking bite than they have shown recently, and they continued to create. Just when our finishing was starting to look like an issue again – with Gloukh missing a penalty (28') – we finally scored!
Nicolas Capaldo pounced on a poor goal kick from Sallinger in the Hartberg target to stream into the box and dispatch the ball with what is supposed to be his weaker leg straight into the bottom corner (34')! It was a route to goal we would take again very shortly afterwards...
Once more an under-hit goal kick led to Gloukh seizing on the ball and getting a chance to shoot after a great move. The ball took a slight deflection before flying in as our two-goal lead was restored (35').
The half-time break was all that more enjoyable with the two-goal lead as we looked forward to the second period.

Hartberg had a go at battling back into the encounter, but our boys defended superbly before striking again! Dorgeles Nene put in a dream cross for the onrushing Capaldo to send in for 3-0 with a mighty header (50')!
The game finally quietened down at that stage with Hartberg still trying to get on the scoresheet - and still failing. With around 30 minutes remaining Pepijn Lijnders shuffled his pack and brought four fresh pairs of legs on, which knocked us out of our rhythm a bit. Just when the visitors were looking like they might finally get on the scoresheet, they had to handle Adam Daghim at the other end. The super-speedy Dane broke free of his marker on the left flank, hit a fine one-two with Ratkov and made it 4-0 with his first Bundesliga goal (75'). The points were not only in the bag by this stage, they were tied in a ribbon with the gift tag filled in.
