Stingrays Announce Details For Remaining Home Games In January

Fans of the South Carolina Stingrays will get a good look at their team over the next couple of weeks, as they embark on a six-game homestand to wrap up the month of January.

The stretch begins this Saturday, and each game promises on-ice excitement and unique fan experiences to go with it.

This Saturday is Military Appreciation Night, presented by Campers Inn RV. The club will honor our nation’s heroes, with players wwearing specialty military-themed jerseys. The jerseys will be auctioned off during the game against the Orlando Solar Bears to benefit the Palmetto Military Support Group. Parking will be free for all attendees of the game, which starts at 6:05 Pm ET.

Kids get to take over Sunday’s game against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits at 3:05 Pm. The first 1,000 kids in attendance will receive a complimentary Stingrays youth hockey jersey. Fans are also encouraged to arrive early to secure this special giveaway.

Friday, Jan. 24 is Country Night at North Charleston Coliseum. It’s the final regular-season home matchup against the defending Kelly Cup Champion Florida Everblades, with puck drop set for 7:05 Pm. The first 1,000 fans to arrive will receive a Stingrays bandana. It’s also a Frothy Friday game, where fans can purchase $5 Frothy Beard Beers between when the doors open and first intermission ends.

Saturday, Jan. 25 is the Coloring for a Cure Game, presented by SERVPRO. The Stingrays will host the Atlanta Gladiators at 6:05 Pm, and players will wear specialty jerseys to be auctioned off during the game. Proceeds will benefit the Landon Strong Foundation, which supports families affected by cancer.

The Mascot Mania Game takes place on Sunday, Jan. 26, presented by Chipper Dog BBQ. Puck drop against the Reading Royals is scheduled for 3:05 Pm, and fans can celebrate Cool Ray’s 32^nd birthday. Other mascots from around the region will also be on hand for an afternoon filled with family fun and surprises.

The final home game of the month is $3 Beer Night on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 7:05 Pm. The matchup against the Savannah Ghost Pirates features beers for $3.

The Stingrays will play a road game on Friday prior to the homestand, as they travel to Greenville for a matchup against the Swamp Rabbits. Puck drop is set for 7:05 Pm ET.

South Carolina is currently 20-10-2-1 for 43 points. The team currently sits in third place in the South Division, two points behind the Jacksonville Icemen.
