Stevenage midfielder Ben Thompson has joined Bromley on a permanent transfer after spending the first half of the season on loan at Hayes Lane.

The 29-year-old has scored three goals in 22 appearances since joining the League Two club in the summer.

Bromley are 12th in the table in their first ever season in the EFL and Thompson has regularly featured alongside Jude Arthurs in the middle of the park.

"I'm delighted to have signed for this brilliant club," he told Bromley's website.

"I've enjoyed every minute of it so far and we've been successful in the games we've had so far. Hopefully that can continue for the rest of the season. I'm looking forward to the future."

Thompson began his career at Millwall, making 175 appearances and scoring 12 goals for the club over seven-and-a-half-years.

Spells at Gillingham and Peterborough United followed before he joined Stevenage in the summer of 2023. He made 41 appearances for the Boro, scoring twice.
