The current Premier League season is not all that far removed from one of the most dramatic and unexpected campaigns in the competition's history.

Leicester City's unbelievable run to its first-ever league title during their memorable 2015-16 run that saw them out-gun Arsenal to the top of the pile come season's end.

But how often have we seen the unexpected when it comes to who claims the top spot in the top flight of English football? Maybe, just maybe, we will again this season.

Former European champions Nottingham Forest are themselves having a season of dreams under Nuno Espírito Santo, and as of Monday's 3-0 win over Wolves, they sit level with Arsenal on 40 points and just six adrift of Liverpool.
