Here is Stanislaus District fans’ pick as The Bee’s Girls Prep of the Week

Turlock soccer player Isis Cosio has made her mark on the Central California Athletic League’s first-place team as just a sophomore.

She is the Bulldogs’ second leading scorer with five goals and three assists.

The forward had a breakout game Jan. 18 against Downey, scoring all of her team’s goals in a 3-1 win to help keep Turlock undefeated in CCAL play. The hat trick was a new varsity career high.

The fans noticed Cosio’s breakout performance, voting her The Bee’s Girls Player of the Week.

Cosio won the weekly poll, earning 54% of the votes. She finished ahead of Hughson soccer player Logann Meyer and Hilmar basketball player Emily Cogswell, who came in second and third place.
