Zack Bolduc wasn't the only St. Louis Blues skater -- at least for one game -- to benefit from a coaching change.

Bolduc scored twice, the first multi-goal game of his NHL career and greatly benefitted from Jim Montgomery taking over as Blues coach on Sunday, but so did his linemate Dylan Holloway.

The forward assisted on both Bolduc goals, just his second multi-point game of the season and he was noticeable all over the ice with his speed and physical presence hunting after pucks.

Holloway hasn't scored in 13 games but if he can build off that kind of game on Monday, he's due to light the lamp.

The line of Holloway, Bolduc and Oskar Sundqvist was impactful throughout the game, a 5-2 win against the New York Rangers on Monday, so much so that the new Blues coach trusted his kids to get ice time protecting the lead late.

It's a huge confidence booster.

"He's a dynamic skater and his tenacity on pucks and the fact that ... I was watching him out there in practice [Tuesday], he's working post-practice," Montgomery said of Holloway. "He wants to be a hockey player. That's a great trait."
