Spain XI vs England: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for Euro 2024 final

Spain captain Alvaro Morata has been passed fit and starts the Euro 2024 final against England.

Morata suffered an injury scare when he twisted his knee after being taken out by a security guard after Tuesday’s semi-final win over France.

But the forward has trained this week and leads the line for the Spanish in Berlin.

Robin Le Normand starts alongside Aymeric Laporte at centre-back, with Nacho Fernandez on the bench.

Dani Carvajal returns from suspension and comes back into the team at right-back in place of Jesus Navas. Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella continues at left-back.

In midfield, Fabian Ruiz and Rodri play in front of Dani Olmo in a 4-2-3-1.

Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal is on the right wing the day after he turned 17 and Nico Williams is on the opposite flank.

Yamal will be up against Luke Shaw, who has been given the nod ahead of Kieran Trippier at left wing-back for England.

Unai Simon is in goal, with Arsenal’s David Raya on the bench as the Spain No2.

Veteran striker Joselu is a potential game-changing option on the bench alongside the likes of Ferran Torres, Mikel Oyarzabal and Ayoze Perez.
