Southampton have announced the news that they have agreed contract extensions with five members of their squad.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Saints this afternoon.

It has been reported that Jemma Purfield, Megan Collett, Milly Mott, Paige Peake and Izzy Milne have all put pen to paper at St Mary’s Stadium.

Purfield and Milne have both signed on for another year while Mott and Peake have both committed themselves to The Saints until summer 2026. Full-back Collett has signed a three-year deal with the club.

Purfield and Mott were ever-presents for Southampton in the Barclays Women’s Championship this season while both Collett and Peake also featured heavily in the team. Youngster Milne is an exciting prospect for the future.

Speaking following this afternoon’s announcement, Southampton’s Director of Women’s Football, Marieanne Spacey-Cale said “We’re delighted to confirm these contract extensions, as each of the girls have played a part in our journey in their own right.

“Some of them have been with us from the start and progressed through the ranks, whilst others have joined more recently as we’ve established ourselves in the Championship.

“We’re looking forward to seeing the impact they’ll continue to have as we hope to kick on again next season.”

Southampton do not yet have an update on the future of forward Sophia Pharoah who is out of contract at the club this summer.
