Sources: Steelers WR Antonio Brown considering Jay Z's agency after dumping Drew Rosenhaus

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has fired agent Drew Rosenhaus and is considering hiring Jay Z's Roc Nation Sports, multiple sources told Yahoo Sports.

Brown was selected in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL draft. Following a breakout 2011 season, when he caught 69 passes for 1,108 yards and two touchdowns, the wide receiver signed a five-year contract extension with the Steelers, reportedly worth $42.5 million.

While sources close to Brown cautioned that Brown could change his mind, he has expressed his intent to sign with Roc Nation to multiple parties in recent days.

If Brown ends up on the fledgling agency's roster, he will be the firm's third wide receiver, joining the New York Giants' Victor Cruz and the Indianapolis Colts' Hakeem Nicks. Currently, the firm's only other football client is New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith.

Last season as the Steelers' No. 1 wideout, Brown had a career high in receiving yards (1,499), catches (110) and touchdown receptions (eight).
