Source: South Carolina State's Kimario McFadden met with Chiefs this week

The Kansas City Chiefs met this week with South Carolina State safety Kiaro McFadden, according to a league source.

McFadden was a second team All-MEAC selection at safety last season.

He recorded 57 tackles, 2.5 sacks and one interception last season for the Bulldogs, who lost to Furman in the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs this past fall.

In that loss to Furman, McFadden led the defense with eight total tackles, one for a loss, and an interception.
