Source: Bears worked out Darius Reynaud

The Chicago Bears worked out kick returner Darius Reynaud, according to a league source.

He was with the New York Jets last season when Josh Cribbs was placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers worked out Reynaud last season, a former Tennessee Titans return man.

Reynaud, a 5-foot-9, 201-pound running back with 3,185 career return yards and three touchdowns, played collegiately at West Virginia.

He has previous stints with the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants.

Two seasons ago against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Reynaud became the 16th player in NFL history to return two punt returns for a touchdown in one game.

He was released after muffing a punt that resulted in a San Francisco 49ers touchdown and negated a potential Titans comeback in the fourth quarter.
