The Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to sign forward Tayshaun Prince to a one-year deal paying the veteran's minimum of at least $1.4 million, a source told Yahoo Sports. Prince is a 13-year NBA veteran who has averaged 11.8 points and 4.5 rebounds during his career that included a 2004 NBA Finals championship with the Detroit Pistons. Along with veteran Kevin Garnett, Prince, 35, will add a veteran presence to a very young Timberwolves squad that includes the top pick in each of the past three drafts: power forward Anthony Bennett (2013), small forward Andrew Wiggins (2014) and center Karl-Anthony Towns (2015).
