Sorloth remains Roma’s first choice to replace Tammy Abraham

However, Villareal’s demands seemed to have put an end to Roma’s interest.

The Italian newspaper suggests otherwise, stating that Sorloth’s future is entirely dependent on Tammy Abraham’s.

Abraham has been rumored to be on his way out of the club since the season ended.

The lack of concrete offers has forced Roma to reconsider the Englishman’s future at the club.

However, if Abraham were to leave in the coming weeks, the Giallorossi would eagerly go for Sorloth as his first choice replacement.

Villarreal know they cannot continue to ask for the release clause of 38 million euros to be paid and have lowered their demands down to 35. Despite this, the FFP and the financial limits could bring the Spanish club’s request down to 25-30 million euros. For this figure, Roma would sit at the negotiating table.
