Son Of Former Hurricane Makes Team Debut Against Rangers

The Carolina Hurricanes will be seeing yet another debut tonight as defenseman Riley Stillman will be drawing into the lineup.

With Jack Roslovic out with an illness, Stillman, 26, will be getting his first shot since signing a one-year, two-way deal with the organization this summer.

This will be the fifth NHL team for Stillman who's played for the Florida Panthers, Chicago Blackhawks, Vancouver Canucks and Buffalo Sabres over his short 158 game career.

What's even more cool is that Riley is the son of former NHLer and former Carolina Hurricanes Cup Champion Cory Stillman, making them the first father-son duo in team history.

Cory, a veteran of over 1,000 games with 278 goals and 727 points, played for Carolina from 2005-2008 and again in 2010-11.

Now, his son will be getting the chance to shine, also becoming the first Carolina Jr. Hurricanes product to play for the team.
