Smith's Two Points Not Enough; Third Period Struggles Return As Bruins Beat Sharks 6-3 In Homecoming Matinee Matchup

Will Smith came home to Boston with a goal and an assist in one of the best games of his young career. Fabian Zetterlund and Barclay Goodrow also scored for the Sharks, who have lost three straight. Yaroslav Askarov returned from an illness and made 27 saves.

Pastrnak gets lucky as his shot deflects off Jake Walman and past Askarov for the 2-1 lead on the power play at 7:01 of the second period.

Smith gets the game tied 2-2 with his first career goal in his hometown of Boston with a wrist shot from the right side.

Zetterlund gets the Sharks a 3-2 lead with his 13th goal of the season after Smith made a great defensive play.

Coyle ties the game 3-3 for the Bruins at 8:22 of the third period.

At 14:11 of the third period, Coyle's second goal gives the Bruins a 4-3 lead.

Marchand had an empty net goal with 1:15 left in the third period.

Elias Lindholm made it 6-3 with another empty net goal.
