SM: The schedule for Fonseca’s arrival and preseason day one

Paulo Fonseca will soon make his way to the city of Milan and take the first steps towards his maiden season as the AC Milan boss. 

As reported by SempreMilan.it, the Portuguese coach is going to land in Milan at 10:30 in the morning on Saturday, July 6.

He has enjoyed a period of rest following the end of his second season as Lille coach but the work in Milan will soon begin, with lots of preparation to be done for the 2024/25 campaign.

After taking a day or so to get a little settled in a new country, Fonseca will be holding his first press conference as Milan boss on Monday, July 8 at 11:00 CEST. He will be grilled by the press on what he expects from this transfer window and also the season ahead.

That same evening at 17:00, he will take charge of his first training session as Milan boss and the first images of him in action with his players will be reported.

He certainly won’t have his entire squad available for that first season with both Euro 2024 and the Copa America still going on. With France and Portugal meeting in a quarter-final, either Rafael Leao or Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez will still be at the tournament for a semi-final.
