Giovanni Reyna has emerged as an interest for AC Milan and the Rossoneri reportedly had a meeting with the American’s entourage on Thursday.

For Sergio Conceicao, it seems that versatility is a thing that any incoming player must have, at least attacker-wise. Marcus Rashford is able to play on the wing or as a striker, but a deal is stalling. Joao Felix, an alternative, can also play on the wings, but also as a striker, or better yet, a second striker.

Reyna, then, also fits this bill. The American is best as the Trequartista, but he can play on the wings as well, which is needed if Noah Okafor or Samuel Chukwueze depart in the mercato.

Reports yesterday stated that the midfielder is an option liked by the club, and Sky reported that a meeting has already taken place. According to the German branch of the media conglomerate, there was a meeting in Dusseldorf between the Rossoneri’s management and the entourage of the American.

This comes without any talks between the clubs taking place, as the report states, so it is likely being done to see if there would be any interest before figures are discussed between the clubs. €15 million is the reported valuation of the midfielder by Borussia Dortmund.
