Yet another source has claimed that AC Milan are making a concrete attempt to try and land Adrien Rabiot, whose contract with Juventus will expire in a few days.

According to Sky, Rabiot is of interest to the Milan management as they look for reinforcements that will raise the level of the midfield department. There was an enquiry lodged with his mother-agent Veronique, but the demands are high.

The Frenchman intends to wait for the end of the European Championship and only then he will evaluate the possible destinations. The first offer to be considered (if it were made) would be that of Juventus, then the remaining ones will be looked into including Milan, without any foreclosures.

Rabiot wants a club with a defined plan to win both in Italy and in Europe, so it can be inferred that the strength of the project put forward will have a big bearing on the decision that the former PSG man makes.

We have seen from the Joshua Zirkzee saga that Milan will not get into any bidding wars when it comes to salary or commissions owed to agents, but Turin-based source Tuttosport did report yesterday that they have tabled a three-year offer to Rabiot and matched Juve’s salary bid.
