New signings remain possible for Manchester City with four transfer exits confirmed

A busy few days have panned out for Manchester City in the ongoing summer transfer window, with developments across the board for the Premier League champions.

Whilst the ongoing market has been somewhat quiet for Manchester City, manager Pep Guardiola has kept the door open to at least two more arrivals on top of the signing of Savinho earlier this summer.

That would follow four confirmed departures from the Etihad Stadium over the last few days, with at least two more expected to follow in the remaining weeks of the window, both in the way of big-money permanent agreements and temporary moves.

We could also see yet more contract renewals being negotiated by sporting director Txiki Begiristain and his recruitment colleagues within the Etihad Stadium, with one report earmarking a new agreement for a rising first-team star.

Ederson has confirmed he will stay at Manchester City this summer. Ederson: “It’s over. I spoke with some players, the coach, director, everyone. I talked to my family and it was a joint decision. We’ll stay more years here.

“The media says many things, sometimes inventing a little more. But I’ve already decided my future, especially after the conversation I had with Guardiola.
