Sights & Sounds From Sharks Legends Game

Last night, the San Jose Sharks held their second-ever Legends Game, with some good highlights reminding fans how good the team was around Joe Thornton.

Each player was introduced to the sold-out Tech CU Arena crowd, and Thornton received a massive ovation. However, Joe Pavelski's introduction to the crowd was just as iconic.

Thornton played for both teams and earned an assist on every goal his team scored, but Pavelski played spoiler for Team Teal and scored the game-deciding shootout goal.

Thornton would score a goal in the game for Team Teal, which Pavelski assisted.

Smiles were on everyone's faces, creating an unforgettable event for fans and Sharks alumni to participate in.

Former Sharks goalie Evgeni Nabokov created a unique set-up for the event that honored Jumbo Joe and Patrick Marleau. He showed off his pads with a save that felt like the one he made against the Dallas Stars in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The entire weekend has been centered around No. 19. Marleau didn't let fans forget that he was the goal-scoring player of the duo and tried a jaw-dropping shootout move right after Thornton failed his attempt.

Team White would make a miraculous comeback with the game-tying goal coming with under a minute left in the game.

Thornton would eventually address the crowd after he was named the game's first star.

Thornton's No. 19 heads to the rafters of the SAP Center with an event that begins at 2:30 p.m.
