Shrewsbury sign Blackman on short-term deal
Shrewsbury Town have signed goalkeeper Jamal Blackman on a short-term contract.
Blackman, 31, started his career at Chelsea and worked together with Salop boss Gareth Ainsworth at Wycombe Wanderers during the 2016-17 campaign, winning the club's young player of the year award.
Blackman has spent time at various clubs across the English Football League including Middlesbrough, Sheffield United, Leeds United and Exeter City and has been without a club since being released by Burton Albion at the end of last season.
He goes straight into the squad for Shrewsbury's League One match at Wigan on Saturday.
