Here was the (short) postgame meeting between Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow

Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes met following the Chiefs’ win over the Bengals.

No matter the outcome of Sunday’s Chiefs-Bengals game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, one team was going to feel like it let a victory slip away.

The Chiefs had three turnovers, including two interceptions by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and failed to convert a two-point conversion. They also converted just one of eight third-down plays.

Cincinnati missed an extra point and quarterback Joe Burrow’s fumble was returned for a touchdown by the Chiefs.

The Chiefs won 26-25 on the final play of the game as Harrison Butker made a 51-yard field goal as time expired.

After the game, Mahomes and Burrow met at midfield briefly. It was clear Burrow was in no mood to talk and Mahomes didn’t try to initiate a long conversation.

Take a look at the video of the star quarterbacks following Sunday’s game.

Mahomes completed 18 of 25 passes for 151 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Burrow threw for 258 yards on 23 of 36 passing with two touchdown throws.
