New Jersey Devils' head coach Sheldon Keefe has provided an update on some of the injuries that have happened over the last week of training camp.
Pesce is still not ready to play says #NJDevils HC Keefe.
Jake Allen will play the full game.
Hatakka is out, still being evaluated. Keefe said it’s not something that is just “day-to-day.”
Also says that, Casey, who was on the ice this am, will not play tonight against NYI.— Amanda Stein (@amandacstein) September 27, 2024
First up, Brett Pesce has missed the week of training camp and looks like he is back skating with the team. However, he is not ready to return to the lineup to play in any games.
Secondly, Santeri Hatakka was on track to make the opening night lineup. Unfortunately, he will be missing some time after suffering an injury the other night. Keefe had mentioned that it doesn't appear to be something that is day-to-day.
